An architect with a global design perspective shaped by her upbringing in Spain and professional experience across Europe and the United States, Marta Fenollosa brings more than 15 years of experience across cultural, civic, higher education, residential, and workplace projects. As a Senior Associate and Director of EskewDumezRipple’s DC Studio, she provides project and practice leadership while helping clients translate complex goals into thoughtful, enduring architecture.

Marta’s experience includes leadership roles at internationally recognized firms such as Perkins&Will, Toshiko Mori Architect, and Carlos Ferrater/OAB, where she developed strong expertise in design strategy, building systems integration, and collaborative project delivery. Her work is grounded in a rigorous design process that connects architectural vision with constructability, sustainability, and long-term performance.

Most recently, Marta served as Project Manager during the final phase of Olney Theatre Center’s multi-year campus transformation, helping guide the Bernard Family Theatre through completion and opening. During this critical stage, she worked closely with the client, contractor, consultants, and broader project team to maintain coordination, support timely decision-making, and carry the project’s design intent through construction. Her regional experience also includes the Headquarters for General Services Administration in James City County, Virginia, where she supported the delivery of a high-performing civic workplace.

Her broader work with EskewDumezRipple includes RNGD Headquarters and Loyola University’s Uptown Residence Hall in New Orleans, reflecting her ability to lead complex projects across a range of scales, building types, and client needs. Across her work, Marta brings a strong understanding of stakeholder engagement, technical delivery, and the collaborative processes required to advance ambitious projects.

Known for her clarity, responsiveness, and thoughtful engagement, Marta builds strong relationships with clients and project teams. She is an experienced spokesperson who can speak to the design process, project delivery, collaboration, and the role architecture plays in advancing an institution’s mission and community impact.
