Marta brings a rich background of experience, shaped by a dynamic upbringing across Europe, a childhood spent in Spain, and a move to the United States to pursue her graduate studies. Her grandfather’s legacy of engineering high-end cars sparked her passion for design and instilled in her a pride for creative expression.

In 2023, Marta joined our DC office, bring with her a depth of experience acquired from professional engagements in cities like Washington, DC, New York City, Barcelona, and Rotterdam. Prior to joining our team, Marta contributed to portfolios of various respected firms such as Perkins & Will, Toshiko Mori, and Carlos Ferrater, each adding a unique layer to her diverse skill set.

With an extensive career, she has curated a diverse portfolio of domestic and international work that reflects her interests across building typologies including higher education, civic and cultural buildings, residential projects, research laboratories, and urban design. She believes that design has a powerful impact on how we live, work, learn and grow.

Beyond the office, Marta enjoys keeping up with her very active two kids. Her love for exploration extends to travel and immersing herself in diverse cultures, enriching her perspectives and influencing her design approach.
