Kristin Davis

NCIDQ
Senior Interior Designer

Kristin joins the New Orleans office with extensive interior design experience. After graduating from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Interior Design degree, Kristin held many design-specific roles that have contributed to her broad range of skills and interests. She interned at an architecture firm in Hammond, LA, and at a residential design firm in Houston, TX. But her career launched at Gensler Houston where she contributed to a broad spectrum of practice areas, including affordable housing, luxury hotels, corporate campuses, boutique retail, restaurants, multi-family and student housing projects. She also helped lead the annual AIA sandcastle competition team at Gensler Houston.

Kristin views architecture as the intersection of art and science. She thinks“great design” should not only be meaningful and beautiful, but functional for its end users down to the smallest detail. Globally, she thinks that we have to be conscious as industry professionals, of the environmental impact of architecture and the industry as a whole.

When she is not working, Kristin enjoys painting, crafting, gardening, and staying active. She also travels extensively – especially to Australia where she has extended family, and spends quality time with her pets and husband.
