Max Katz

AIA, LEED Green Associate
Associate | Architect

Originally from Los Angeles, Max first fell in love with architecture after skateboarding through the relentless bustle of the city, finding ways to be creative with urban space. Max was drawn to New Orleans five years ago to study architecture at Tulane, but ended up deeply connected to the city and is honored to live and work here now. Currently residing in the East Riverside Neighborhood, Max frequently looks to collaborate and learn from other local architects and craftsmen. Having studied abroad in Rome and traveled to various parts of Asia, Max has a love for travel and applying what he’s learned to New Orleans.

Max also has an intense love for detailing and building structures, especially when there are many constraints to consider. He received the Outstanding Thesis Award and the Tulane 34 award, which is only given to only 34 students across all of Tulane’s schools, both graduate and undergraduate, for exemplary academics, leadership, and community service.
