Sustainable Design Coordinator | Architect
Aida received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute while minoring in Entrepreneurship and Studio Arts. She was awarded the 2021 Robert S. Brown Travel Fellowship, focusing her research on Investigating Perspectives on Livability. Her past design work has been published by Dezeen, an AD journal, and influx vol. 2.
Originally from Takoma Park near the Washington Metropolitan area, Aida has served in roles designing, fabricating, and researching across the country and abroad. Her career path has taken her to Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Copenhagen, and now New Orleans. These experiences have shaped her passion for healthy building innovation and citizen-led design approaches that generate new forms of equity and opportunity in the built environment.
After completing a year-long research fellowship with EskewDumezRipple focused on design equity, Aida joined the firm as Sustainable Design Coordinator. In 2026, Aida became a registered Architect.
Aida views architecture as a collaborative and civic act, grounded in community, access, and care. Her work is informed by material research and design justice principles, with a focus on creating spaces that support wellbeing while expanding opportunity for voices historically underrepresented in the profession.
In her free time, Aida can be found playing guitar, biking, reading, and exploring New Orleans with friends!
