Crescent Park Receives 2014 Best of Year Honor from Interior Design

The design industry’s best and brightest—including Eskew+Dumez+Ripple’s own Amanda Rivera, AIA, LEED AP BD+ C and Ariana Rinderknecht, RA—turned out en masse to celebrate Interior Design’s 2014 Best of Year Awards, held at Frank Gehry’s IAC Building in New York.

Held annually, the awards program recognizes overall project design in addition to specific products utilized in a particular design. This year’s categories present a comprehensive overview of the Interior Design industry and celebrate the power of good design in a variety of building types and settings.

Our own Crescent Park—a 1.4-mile linear park including 20-acres of native landscaping, bike paths, playgrounds, a dog run, and the adaptive reuse of two industrial wharfs—received an honoree award in the Outdoor Spaces Category.

This is the sixth award Eskew+Dumez+Ripple has received during the annual program’s 9 year history. Past projects include: Prospect.1 Visitors Center; 930 Poydras Residential High-Rise; Lamar Advertising Corporate Headquarters; Arabella Residence and LB Landry High School.
