Ernest N. Morial Convention Center Hall A Renovation

This renovation at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, the sixth largest Convention Center in the nation with the largest ballroom in New Orleans, has been dubbed “The Great Hall” in reference to the Convention Center’s first use as the Great Hall of the 1984 World’s Fair. Additionally, the Julia Street entrance was enhanced to provide visitors with a grand “sense of arrival” that befits a Convention Center in one of the world’s most favored convention destinations, New Orleans.

The former Hall A of the Convention Center was re-configured to create a 60,000 square foot ballroom space with high end interior finishes fitting for major events such as Mardi Gras balls, convention-wide dinners, and formal political occasions. The existing entrance was also renovated to offer a 4,660 square foot executive conference center with a roof-top terrace, and a 4,700 square foot lounge.

The project has been designed in collaboration with Joint Venture Architect of Record Manning Architects and Associate Architect, LMN of Seattle.
